When you wanna submit a piece of artwork to DA you'll see a long "agreement" notice. Seems to me you're not the owner of your artwork anymore, everything can happen.

I strongly hesitate to submit artwork again here. In this case, I'd siply write a journal entry linking to the newly accepted piece on the Dinosaurucon once in a while, and that's all.

Any input?

Say if they did that it would beat the purpose of having a free art gallery. (Informed) People would never come near this site. And those who are here would leave in a second as the above commenter. From what I've read about they're just securing more rights than they'll ever have to use to avoid spurious lawsuits.

*reads agreement*

Point 2 clearly states you are still the owner of your art. Third parties refered are services provided by others to display the art (in fact I think display is the only real use given to art here) you upload here.

Point 3.5 says that you forego all rights to items which _include_ your art: would you want to get paid to be featured among that monthly presentation of twenty artists? Or in case you get a sub and want to advert your gallery get paid for the use of one of your pieces for you gallery banner, or even for the prints ads?

I think those are the main points of contention. Hope I have at least cleared them a bit.
